About codmir

Operating System for Intelligence Work.

codmir is the Context Framework for AI-to-AI workflows. It acts as the missing layer between task tracking and AI execution—designed to help both humans and AI agents coordinate work, share context, and build on each other's contributions.

What is codmir?

Traditional tools like Jira, GitHub, and Linear track human work. But AI agents now write code, run tests, analyze logs, and fix bugs. These tools weren't built for agents—they lack a shared memory and a structured way for AIs to pass context between each other. codmir solves this gap.

Tickets = Context Capsules

A ticket is more than a 'to-do.' It's a living container that holds the story, references, code changes, logs, artifacts, and agent traces—all in a structured, machine-readable way.

Reference Graph

Every ticket connects to commits, PRs, endpoints, datasets, and tests. The result is a graph that lets agents and humans navigate the why and how of work done.

Record of Work

Each capsule records not just what was done, but by whom (human or AI), why it was done, and what evidence supports it. This builds a durable memory of progress.

How Codmir products connect

Codmir isn't one app — it's a connected system. The Desktop app is the client for managers. The IDE is the server for developers. They communicate through MCP so AI agents can work across both simultaneously.

Desktop App

CLIENT
  • Ultra-fast project management
  • Voice control for hands-free work
  • Native browser for live QA testing
  • Approval gates for agent work
  • Team oversight and collaboration

Built for PMs, founders, and non-technical team members who need to manage projects and oversee AI agent work without touching code.

Codmir IDE

SERVER
  • AI agent workstation (VS Code)
  • Task queue from any client
  • Autonomous code execution
  • Controls Desktop via MCP
  • Sandboxed and auditable

The engine room for developers. Connect from the Web app or Desktop to queue tasks — the IDE runs them with its AI agents.

Web & Mobile

ANYWHERE
  • Full experience in the browser
  • Mobile for approvals on the go
  • Push notifications for errors
  • Review tickets and boards
  • No install required (web)

Start in the browser, stay connected on your phone. Both connect to the IDE server to queue work and monitor agents.

The MCP Bridge

The IDE agent connects to the Desktop app through MCP (Model Context Protocol). This means the agent running in the IDE can control the Desktop app — opening pages in its native browser, running tests, and interacting with the UI.

A developer writes code in the IDE. The agent tests it in the Desktop's browser while the QA engineer watches. No context switching, no manual handoff.

codmir: The Bridge Between Your Team

codmir acts as an intelligent bridge between Product Managers, Developers, Owners, and other stakeholders—transforming ideas into executable work while preserving human judgment and decision-making.

Product Manager

Write ideas and requirements in natural language. codmir transforms them into actionable tasks with AI assistance.

  • •Draft features and user stories conversationally
  • •AI generates technical specifications and implementation plans
  • •Pass structured work to developers for review or modification
  • •Track reasoning behind decisions and postponements

Developer

Review AI-generated work, refine it, or redirect the approach. Your expertise guides the final implementation.

  • •Start with AI-generated code as a foundation
  • •Modify, enhance, or completely rewrite the approach
  • •Reject ideas with clear technical reasoning
  • •Decide to postpone work based on priorities

Owner / Stakeholder

Keep projects moving even when the team is busy. AI provides initial solutions that await human review.

  • •AI maintains momentum when team is occupied
  • •Get draft solutions ready for review
  • •Most powerful when combined with team oversight
  • •Ensure nothing falls through the cracks

The Power of Human Oversight: codmir works autonomously to maintain momentum, but it reaches its full potential when combined with human review. Every AI-generated solution awaits validation from your team—ensuring quality, alignment, and learning from each decision.

Guiding Principles

Our guiding principles shape every decision we make. They define how we build, how our agents behave, and how we collaborate with our community.

“Intelligence evolves best together. Humans bring meaning, creativity, and values. Agents bring memory, speed, and perfect recall. Together, we create lasting progress.”

01

Human First

Every action must empower human goals and dignity.

02

Transparency Always

The agent acts openly, with logs and consent.

03

Knowledge Belongs to Users

Accounts own their data, always.

04

Accountability & Alignment

Decisions require human oversight where stakes are high.

05

Autonomy With Boundaries

Agents plan and execute—but do not override people.

06

Shared Progress

Learnings help communities thrive, not just individuals.

07

Ethics as Architecture

Safety is built-in, not added later.

The Shift We're Building

Enable humans and AI to collaborate as one evolving intelligence. AI as a partner in planning, execution, evaluation, and innovation.
